He never lets you down, does he???

High time i start my blog with something amusing.. something different that interests you to read further. My blogging career took off when i was jobless and continued as my jobless days continued.
The blog addiction at one time was about 44 percent and it went up to a max of 66 percent which i consider the peak of my blogging career. And that was the time when i literally wrote about every damn thing that was happening around me. i made quite a few blogging friends too.
But now its different. Its not been the same from the past 6-7 months.
If you see me previous post, you will realize what kind of a blogger i am.
I have been opening this URL "kyakahoon.blogspot.com" only when i feel sad or when i am happy.
I feel like sharing things only when am sad or happy! But i do get thoughts of sharing new things with this old buddy of mine, things that i come across @home @work everywhere.

Let me try and promise! a promise to write! a promise to express! a promise to keep this space alive! "Kyakahoon.blogspot.com"! Kuch to zaroor kahunga! Come what may, I will and i definitely will write atleast thrice a month! This is a promise!!

Good news - Bad news!!

Now before i find a lame reason of not to write.. let me share this with you guys.

Busy Bee!

Now firstly, I need a whack for staying away from my blog for so long and its yet another month without any posts. Having written my last post on July 15, i desperately wanted to write something before this month concluded. And here i am.

Now as i wrote the first line of this post, i dint quite know what to pen down tonight. But i kinda figured it out as i continued typing...

The past few weeks have been tiring. Not like i have become a Busy bee! Just that the whole process of home-travel-work-travel-home sucks all your energy to even think of anything useful.

Now before i change my mind, i'll quickly tell you what happened.

I had this weird never seen dream about "1853" as i woke up this morning!!!
And am kinda still wondering , how the hell did she come to my mind after so many months!!! 10-11 months to be precise.
I have not seen in her months to be thinking of her. How the hell did my mind produce such a wonderful dream of a person whom i've not seen for so many months now!
The brains of boys' i tell you! ;D
They never stop thinking of the girls they dated or had a crush on till the day they die!!


But whatever it was,.... it was awesome!

Is the 1853 episode back again????
Not sure though... but this dream has definitely triggered something.
Off to get ready to work now!

Rotten apples are everywhere!

I always wondered why people often hate their bosses!
And am pretty sure many of you still wonder !! And probably some of you must have already found out whyy??
Today was the day when i actually found out the whole phenomenon of hating and bitching all by myself! :|

Destinyy!!

As i failed to gather all the energy that i actually required to put together a post in my blog every time from the past one month, i lost hope. I was scared what if i totally lost interest in this. But even this scary thought couldn't really get me down to writing. Forget writing!!! I was not even visiting my page to read blogs from other friends that i have!! Imagine!'


When i published "Things that I've Been doing Lately". Things were way too complicated to explain. It was more of a frustrated writing that i had come up with in a rather subtle funny way. However, am glad i was able to do that. In just a couple of days things changed again. They seemed a welcoming change provided the amazing time that i was having sitting all day in front of my 3-year old computer. This particular change was something that made me happy and sad at the same time. I was not really keen on going with this flow of change yet i had no option but to force my way into it. To be precise, I joined a Call Center - Hewlett Packard Technical Support. I was taught the skills to master the art of customer support. Hmmmm... !!! After slogging my ass out for 4 years in engineering with a percentage which just manages to come inside the so called "descent-not bad-kinda percentage category", i had got a very good job in software development in mysore which i merely left or rather turned my face after 4 days from joining. *Please Don't ask me the Reason*.. I know!! i Know!! i was hastyy!! i knww!!! After hearing so many things from so many people from the time i've quit....Am just waiting for a day when the dog that sleeps outside my house to pounce on me and ask me why i left the job in mysore??? Don't be surprised if i pen down that event when it happens!!!!


After such disastrous decisions that i made in life, what can one say or even help? I was left with no other option but to take this Technical Support job. Which i did on the March 25th of this year. Things were calm and steady as days passed by. I went on to learn how.. [HP] is pronounced as "aeech Pee" (American Style)and not "Hech Pee" and How A stands for Alpha and not Apple and how B stands for Bravo and not Ball. Somethings were really amusing..Like how American women hate it when they're referred to as "Madam"(*there are reason for it*). As far as i know people back here in India love it and are overjoyed when someone refers them by "Madam".
This supposedly being my first job that got me a salary of just over 15k was something that brought joy and something more that cannot be explained. I was Happy..bought stuff for myself..Like a watch that i always waited to buy the day i get my first salary.. it didn't materialize with the earlier job but it did with this job!!!! All said and done!!I had to accept the reality!! Though people working here convince themselves calling it a technical support job!!! but from within everyone knows it.. its a call center after all!!!
As i said the above dialogue to my friend.. he came out with a sizzling one liner from a movie that goes like this "Kaam Tho Kaam Hotha Haii..!! Jaisa Tu Doctor hai Waise he Apun Gangster Haii" ..!!! Made sense right??
But not all things in your life that makes sense makes you earn your daily bread.


As i said days passed.. and this is was the time when i was struggling to put together a post!!
Either i was short of ideas or short of the motivation factor. I was turning into a zombie when lighting struck on the day of May 19th when i was called for an interview on the following day!!!
Thats when i remembered the "Reshot" thing that the almighty told me in my Falling Slowly poem. Remember?????
The clouds went dark the next day the May 20th showing hints of rain and as i kept watching.. it started drizzling the day after the 21st!! All was done!! I was all ready, for the rain to pour and was just gearing up to jump out in the rain!! When the clouds cleared all of a sudden.. but it kept drizzling.. !! I was in a state of shock...!!! The clouds cleared completely... but still it kept drizzling.. !! it was 24th of May when i gave up on the clouds.. but it still kept drizzling...!! I wondered how the lightning just brought about drizzles and no rain!! Rain is what i expected!! Rain is what everyone expects!! right????
Just when i was about to give up on the hope that i had with the lightning that had struck, someone held my hand and whispered "Wait... I know it will Rain!! Come what may!! Rain will come down and come down hard!!! The lightning was struck especially for you!! Wait!! Don't Give up!! "

On the 27th of May was when my phone rang!! As i stood watching..it started pouring!!! Pouring hard every second!!! It was the very rain..that i craved for every single day that one week!! I wasn't in a position to believe what i was actually witnessing but it had happened... !!
All i can say at that point of time is.. its just the beginning!!!


Now coming back to the person responsible for that lightning is SM!!! Am not sure if SM is Okay with her name coming here!! So I'll keep it as SM!!! Though given a chance i would love to expand it right away!!! Thanks a ton for getting things done for the lightning to strike!!!

How long does it take before you realize that the day that just went by, was by far the worst days you've ever had from the past couple of months.
When you come across such days, all you can do is to come home..open your blog and vent out your all day long miserable events. These events are like some shitty progressions in mathematics. One event has to derive the next event... come what may!!!

Things that I've been doing Lately

Err..you know what..i haven't been so jobless my whole life..!! i mean.. totally..!!
You seem to wonder ..
how would life be if you were busy all dayy!!!!


There are like a million things that i've been sincerely doing latelyy,

1. I heard that Google is honoring me with a "wildest Orkut user ever Award". And its pretty obvious.. you know whyyy??? i Log on to Orkut every single day.. and refresh the page once every 2 minutes. So that makes it 30 times in an hour.. and 720 times a day. And i've completely lost count on the number of jobless days spent.
So.. 720 multiplied by x = *Forget it*.

2. Scan the gtalk list every few minutes, just to catch that interesting person that i can chat with.( P.S: Its the other way round.. people can't stop talking to me :D )

3. Movies... Movies... and Movies..!! And the end product of being so free and watching movies is this "WWW.RAGHAVTHECRITIC.BLOGSPOT.COM" - A Movie Critic..!! And the best thing is.. few friends of mine even suggested me to take this as a Career..!! Imagine!!!
Ahh.... See you can make a Career out of anythin possible..!

4. Sleep late every night thinking i'll get up early tomo and do something really useful. And make the same pledge the next night..! and it just seems to go on n on..!

5. I love my Hair. I seriously do. Am trying to grow long hair ( I know..i know i have nothing to do with it growing.. but still..). Have been growing it from November 08 and its March 09 noww..!!This is the longest possible time that i've grown my hair without going for an haircut. My parents are literally killing me to cut my hair off..!So i need some expert advice here...!! You can see an Hair Cut Poll on the right side of the page.. Please do vote..!! 6. Have been watching all the 4 Seasons of HIMYM ("How I Met Your Mother") all over again for the 3rd time now...!!!

7. Have exceeded my Internet monthly usage limit of 2.5GB yet again.. and this time by 15th of this month itself..!! so.... :(...

8. God know how many posts i've read in the Writer's Lounge from the time i've joined it..!! There's no wayy i can count..! its kept my blogging career alive....!!! So "Writer's Lounge" is the place to be for all you bloggers or the people who love reading blogs.

But i did..!!! My first FIR that i ever filed :D..!!

It all happened on the fateful Thursday evening the 27th of February. I was in my car driving back with a close friend... when a Tata 407 Mini Truck crashed into my car..!!!

And the drama that followed is something that cannot be explained..!!
It was filled with tension...!! anxiety..!! anger.. and what not.

And the estimate of all the repairs is summing up to a whopping 37,000!!!
How bad can it get.. when nothing's working your way.

Now coming back to the FIR thing, frankly speaking..The cops aren't that bad..you know!!! I mean.. they made me feel so comfortable. They were so humble while directing me about how to go about the whole FIR thingy and the numerous formalities that needs to be followed. I can undoubtedly claim that the Bangalore Traffic Police Department is one of the best government undertaking that you can come across in Karnataka.



But again, How can every government dept be perfect???
Here's our very own RTO.
RTO Bangalore North is another government undertaking, that tests your patience and tests it to the absolute core. 6 Hours for a signature!!!!
How efficient ain't it???

Well, first of all
Belated Birthday Wishes pa..!!!
It was my dad's birthday on the 20th of this month. He turned 59 this year. I badly wanted to post something reallly special that day, but as i was leaving for a trip the very same day couldn't post.
Okay now,I have a question. How important is it to know your exact date of birth??
I mean can you accept the fact that you've no idea when you were born??
Feels weird right???
No Birthday??
Fortunately or Unfortunately, my dad too doesn't know his exact date of birth. As my dad tells me, my grandfather had the birth dates of his first and second son written in a small book which he happened to lose decades ago. And all he knew was, that my dad was born in February. So they had no option but to fix on random some date in February.. and the date they happened to fix was 20th Feb. And its the same date that goes into various records as DOB of my dad.



This post goes out exclusively for my dad..!!
I want to thank him for a millions of things. Right from the time i was born, to the time when i quit the job. He's been there. I know those are the things that every dad does to their son/daughter but i somehow think my dad's the best!!!!

Feels like catching hold of each of those bastards and bashing them up. Freakin shit! I felt so bloody helpless seeing those innocent people getting hit for no reason that too from some shitty elements. The President of that Fools Sena goes on to say " This is a very good thing that happenend in Mangalore". What the f*** does he mean?
We talk about the al Qaaeda and youngsters being brainwashed abt "mazhab" n "mulk"..!! These people from the "Fools Sena" are no less..!! i mean these people hurt us more than they did!!

Rewind n Replay!

So!
My first post for the year 2009. I probably would have written 3 posts by now. But few things ruined my plans.
Anyways... no no no... its "Anyway"...!!!
a friend pointed this thing out in her blog. And for like 999 out of 1000 times i say Anyways. And then i'll be like.. no no no.. you fool..its "Anyway"...got it??? and i'd remember her more with the word "Anyway" rather than her own name. I mean.. how weird is that???
Now Have any of you heard of the thing - "Rewind n Replay"???
woooo!! i know all of you are pretty smart!! Not with respect to your tape recorder or your walkman you dumbass..!!
I meant with respect to one's life..!!! oki... let me try explain..
You always tend to associate some peculiar things you come across in your day-to-day life with things and people in the past. I don't know, how many of you actually felt this way. But this whole feeling is amazing.
Now when i say peculiar things, it could be anything..!! Right from the Spellbound Music that you ever listened to-or-the numerous pleasant/disgusting People you've ever met-or-the Aroma of a thing-your Deo/Perfume and any particular article that was ever with you or you ever noticed.
Ok let me get a few observations from my basket right away,
Now the first time i moved into Bangalore way back in 1997, the place seemed lovely. Malleswaram itself felt like the garden city to me. Now that was the time when the famous home appliance manufacturer "Whirlpool" were in their top form of marketing and sales. And one of their particular ad's of a refrigerator with a pretty girl in it. Where the songs goes something like this.. Whirlpoooool...Whirlpooooooooooooooooooooool......!!!!!(probably with a lote more o's)
I know you can't really figure out the tune. But i couldn't find it anywhere. All i found was this picture. And this girl in this picture totally swept me away the first day i saw her... ahhhhh!!!
All that i can remember is this pretty girl and .....Whirlpoooool...Whirlpoooooooooooooool......!!!!!
And whenever i just hear that awesome tune, i automatically go 12 years back when we just moved in, and all the excitement of the new house!! its awesome!!

Phew!! ain't she cute???????

Oki.. Sense of smell is something that we as humans can't live without.
Now the other thing that Rewind n Replay my past is my favourite deo "El Paso".
I just love it.


I was an regular buyer of this deo during my early days in engineering. As days passed, i grew old and i felt trying out new deo's very amusing. And i sincerely changed it every month( oki.. i confess.. 15 days..!! i drain out these deo's in less than 15 days!!! heyyyyy no no no.. not that i stink a lot..!! No way!!). I always believed in Rewind n Replay but never knew such a toiletry item can actually make you R n R.
I happened to buy my oldie fav "El Paso" again sometime back..!! And as i opened it and sprayed, as my senses felt that odour..i felt like.. wooahhhh!!!! I was fast put into the Rewind Mode and then Replay..!!

Gaaawwwd! I was just starting to remember my early engineering days..!! i mean the first day at coll.. the first class that i attended... the first group i was in..Even the hot senior whom i had a crush on..!! everythiin!!! Every damn thing..!! its just feels so amazing!! Irrespective of whether you want it or not.. certain things just cling on to you making you feel good of a lot of things in the past. I don't know how many of you actually feel such things!!
If you are... Here you are ...gimme 5 !!!
But If you are not...then thats when people say.. you must be out of your senses.
Pity u senseless creature!!!

Oki.. The third thing thats puts me in R n R mode is the Music.
Now i won't elaborate much on this. Cos i have my reasons for it..!! n i guess its good if it remains a this way...!!

This is a beatuiful song. Just hearing it for the first few seconds will make you like it.
Now i happen to remember certain things of my engineering days just cos of this very song.
I mean i can't help it!! Even though i try stopping myself to go into the R n R mode this time, i can't..!! I eventually remember all the things of the time when i first listened to this song and all the other things associated with it..!!

Jus for this one thing, Otherwise I love all the experiences with the Rewind n Replay methodology.
I can actually list a dozen of such weird things that put u in R n R mode.
Well, I know my posts get too emotional at times but who cares..!!

Dasvidaniya "Momentous 2008.."

Another momentous notable exciting year wraps up in a few hours. This year gone by has had its share of moments and fateful unpleasant moments. Every day gone by has a tale to tell. Every individual would have grown older by a year. And i've grown 6 months older as a blogger.

-> 1st Jan 2008 : We all stepped in to this whole new year and i stepped into my exam hall to write my "Java" exam on the very same day. VTU never spared us on 1st Jan every year.


->15th Jan 2008 : My dear Santro celebrated its First Bday!!


->21st Jan 2008 : Got a insight of how the corporate life actually is. our final year project PLGS begun in hp.


->6th Feb 2008 : The final sem of Engg kicks off!! Nostalgic alreadyy

The Movie Critic in me..

Well, Am into this new act of giving movie reviews. I somehow like the fact of analysing the movie on the audience perspective and how well they succeed or fail to make an impact on the them. I personally am a huge fan of IMDB(Internet Movie Database). This is the absolute encyclopedia of movies around the globe right from the movies already released to the movies under production to the movies just announced. I used to write movie reviews on this site for sometime now. And then i thought of dedicating a new blog to just Review movies. And here i am, Your Movie Critic giving sincere review of atleast one movie per week. Click here to read the review of this week.

Its so weird. Just one thing can make you feel like pulling your hair off. That one thing is your "Past". Past is that one thing which clutches on to you whether or not you want it with you or not. It just sticks on to you till you're dead. I mean even shadows leave us alone in a complete dark room. But this fuckin past... it clenches you.. and clenches you hard. You might be wondering why am i stressing so much on that damn word. The Past am referring to you is something that i probably never want to peek into. Wish i could just pull of out a USB cord from the computer plug into on my brain and erase all that shitty things from the past which i never ever want to recollect again. Alas. My brain cells won't let me do that. And even if the brain cells did let me,probably the people involved in the past won't let me do that. 

Everytime.. every fuckin time..!!!

God knows who these people are.. but their perception of "Past" looks a lot like mine.

Resilient Mumbai.. Resilient India..

It happens yet again. Yet again claiming over 150 lives leaving 350 plus grievously injured. Now i know all this has been said and done,played and replayed by numerous news channels in numerous languages by numerous journalists adding their own flavor throughout the 72 hours of this Terror.
Am too, like many you Indians have felt sad, frustrated, angered and sensed the feeling of helplessness. Just a mere..a mere 10-12 brainsick demented insane fools held the country at ransom yet again leaving the many so called leaders-politicians gazing.. making them realize their impotence and incapability. I know its kind off easy to just blame these impotent fools for everything right from infrastructure to the recent security breach. How easy isn't it???
Every politician today might be making their own intentions and gimmicks on how to take advantage of this terror attack on Mumbai??? How to gain that extra edge over the other parties??? how??-how??-how??..!!Now each one of you would have done the same fuckin thing had u been the politicians!! Now a few might disagree saying..no am very principled.. am very honest.. i would be a honest politician..and all that crap..!! Now this is the same very person you see when caught by Traffic Police for some kinda offence.. paying 50 bucks and getting away for a offence committed which might be of 300 bucks. This very instance you forget about your honesty-about you being fair.. all you want is to be let off with the least fine. ain't u????
And you talk about the Police being corrupt?? about the politicians being corrupt??? about the system being corrupt???.. This "You" also refers to me..Am no saint..!!
At the very grass root level we're making the system corrupt!! If you'd have the bloody balls and some sense of responsibility of being a citizen of India.. you would have made sure such offences won't happen..!!
We people crib-crib-crib till we find some other strong reason to crib.
Crib who says no???.. but crib only when you realize you're a responsible enough citizen to crib about the numerous things you feel ain't proper in our country.
Today.. even after those hundreds of Attacks.. right from the 1993-serial-blasts to the recent 2008 Attack on Mumbai.. it'll be a day or two before people resume their normal life style to their old fast-rush-mode again pushing each other in this Rat Race.. And we refer it as the "Spirit of Mumbai"or i want to call it the "Spirit of India". Hope this Spirit induces the responsibility factor within every spirited Indian.
Not to forget,
I started this post with the intention of paying my Tribute to the Martyrs who laid down their life fighting in the last few days, but couldn't stop myself from talking about the complete Blame game what we involve in.
My Heartfelt Condolences to the families of all the Brave Officers and soldiers who lost their life fighting in this tragic and rather mournful incident . The Sacrifices of the 14 policeman from the Mumbai Police and 3 from the NSG will be remembered for a long-long time to come.

Bengaluru to Mysooru..!!

Just as i was enjoying the moments after getting the XXtraOrdinary Blogger Award(wish it comes true somedayy)...realized.. i've to start packing to move my Habitat to Mysore. 

Remember??? new job?? Ful happy?? and all...!!

Really excited about this new migration plan.. I want to post about all my Mysore-Staying-Alone-Experiences.  So everythin's done... except my packing. My mom's yelllin on the top of her voice.

Managed to clear all the rounds quite convincingly!! Wanted to post a lot of things about my experience during the interview process and my journey to Mysore... but you know right?? am just 55 % addicted to blogging!! so 2 posts a month usually suffices my addiction..!!
