Rewind n Replay!

So!
My first post for the year 2009. I probably would have written 3 posts by now. But few things ruined my plans.
Anyways... no no no... its "Anyway"...!!!
a friend pointed this thing out in her blog. And for like 999 out of 1000 times i say Anyways. And then i'll be like.. no no no.. you fool..its "Anyway"...got it??? and i'd remember her more with the word "Anyway" rather than her own name. I mean.. how weird is that???
Now Have any of you heard of the thing - "Rewind n Replay"???
woooo!! i know all of you are pretty smart!! Not with respect to your tape recorder or your walkman you dumbass..!!
I meant with respect to one's life..!!! oki... let me try explain..
You always tend to associate some peculiar things you come across in your day-to-day life with things and people in the past. I don't know, how many of you actually felt this way. But this whole feeling is amazing.
Now when i say peculiar things, it could be anything..!! Right from the Spellbound Music that you ever listened to-or-the numerous pleasant/disgusting People you've ever met-or-the Aroma of a thing-your Deo/Perfume and any particular article that was ever with you or you ever noticed.
Ok let me get a few observations from my basket right away,
Now the first time i moved into Bangalore way back in 1997, the place seemed lovely. Malleswaram itself felt like the garden city to me. Now that was the time when the famous home appliance manufacturer "Whirlpool" were in their top form of marketing and sales. And one of their particular ad's of a refrigerator with a pretty girl in it. Where the songs goes something like this.. Whirlpoooool...Whirlpooooooooooooooooooooool......!!!!!(probably with a lote more o's)
I know you can't really figure out the tune. But i couldn't find it anywhere. All i found was this picture. And this girl in this picture totally swept me away the first day i saw her... ahhhhh!!!
All that i can remember is this pretty girl and .....Whirlpoooool...Whirlpoooooooooooooool......!!!!!
And whenever i just hear that awesome tune, i automatically go 12 years back when we just moved in, and all the excitement of the new house!! its awesome!!

Phew!! ain't she cute???????

Oki.. Sense of smell is something that we as humans can't live without.
Now the other thing that Rewind n Replay my past is my favourite deo "El Paso".
I just love it.


I was an regular buyer of this deo during my early days in engineering. As days passed, i grew old and i felt trying out new deo's very amusing. And i sincerely changed it every month( oki.. i confess.. 15 days..!! i drain out these deo's in less than 15 days!!! heyyyyy no no no.. not that i stink a lot..!! No way!!). I always believed in Rewind n Replay but never knew such a toiletry item can actually make you R n R.
I happened to buy my oldie fav "El Paso" again sometime back..!! And as i opened it and sprayed, as my senses felt that odour..i felt like.. wooahhhh!!!! I was fast put into the Rewind Mode and then Replay..!!

Gaaawwwd! I was just starting to remember my early engineering days..!! i mean the first day at coll.. the first class that i attended... the first group i was in..Even the hot senior whom i had a crush on..!! everythiin!!! Every damn thing..!! its just feels so amazing!! Irrespective of whether you want it or not.. certain things just cling on to you making you feel good of a lot of things in the past. I don't know how many of you actually feel such things!!
If you are... Here you are ...gimme 5 !!!
But If you are not...then thats when people say.. you must be out of your senses.
Pity u senseless creature!!!

Oki.. The third thing thats puts me in R n R mode is the Music.
Now i won't elaborate much on this. Cos i have my reasons for it..!! n i guess its good if it remains a this way...!!
Have you heard the song "Jaane Kya Chahe Mann" from the movie Pyaar ke Side Effects??
This is a beatuiful song. Just hearing it for the first few seconds will make you like it.
Now i happen to remember certain things of my engineering days just cos of this very song.
I mean i can't help it!! Even though i try stopping myself to go into the R n R mode this time, i can't..!! I eventually remember all the things of the time when i first listened to this song and all the other things associated with it..!!

Jus for this one thing, Otherwise I love all the experiences with the Rewind n Replay methodology.
I can actually list a dozen of such weird things that put u in R n R mode.
Well, I know my posts get too emotional at times but who cares..!!

Hey wait a miin... did i just invent something called the Rewind n Replay Methodology????

Oh hell yeah!!! i did it again!!!
